Are you kidding me? This is a REAL leather beach / city cruiser bike seat! It's about 11" Long x 10" Wide, so it's got enough size to carry you in style while you're riding straight up on your best cruiser bike down the boardwalk or boulevard! It also has dual springs to cushion the hardest of bumps!
This BIG, WIDE saddle is meant for a more upright riding position on a beach cruiser type of bike. Can also be used on electric or motorized bikes. Rest assured, leather really IS more comfortable than that cheap foam and plastic wonder you have now.
Leather care:
* You need to keep it out of the rain as much as possible
* The bottom of the saddle has a protective fabric screen to protect the leather from water sprayed by your tires
* You'll need to make sure you oil your saddle regularly, otherwise it'll dry out, crack and become worthless. Sheldon Brown's website has an excellent article on leather saddles and saddle care (Google "Sheldon Brown leather saddle"). We use Rawlings leather baseball glove oil and conditioner, but any suitable treatment used on baseball gloves, leather bike saddles, horse saddles and the like should do just fine.
